Besides Yoga classes, meditation and many other retreats you can always enjoy swimming in the Lake Atitlan. The water is clear and refreshing:)
Please note that swimwear is only appropriate at the lake’s edge, keep respectably covered at other times
You can also visit Reserva Natural del Cerro Tzankujil with a beach, hike trails and 7 meter high jumping spot from where you can jump in the lake. The entrance fee is 15Q.
To visit other villages around the lake or book a tour to some of the most beautiful places in Guatemala (like Antigua, Semuc Champey, Tikal, Flores or a black beach in Monterrico and more) is always a good idea.
You can also learn Spanish, rent a kayak (for 20Q per person for one hour at the entrance of the national park) or hike around San Marcos – volcano San Pedro or Indian Nose are good examples.
